Within this role, your responsibilities will include: Identify, develop, and promote tools, approaches, and data products that raise the standard of validity in experiment design and analysis across the company. Collaborate with multiple teams and functions to deliver in-depth analysis and experimental design for new initiatives and key business areas. Develop and iterate on processes to enable more efficient and rigorous experimentation. What is the challenge of the position? As a Data Platform Engineer, your challenge will be to develop key functionalities within the platform ecosystem, contributing to an infrastructure that centralizes ETL and streaming systems, enables experimentation and data development, and powers algorithm development. You will design and build scalable engineering solutions to solve business and data problems. Who will you work with? You will collaborate with cross-functional teams. What tools will you work with? The tools you will work with are: S3 using Parquet and Iceberg for data storage Hive and Iceberg REST Catalog as our metastore Spark (Python, SQL, Scala) for data transformation Go, Scala, and Java for backend development Kafka for data streaming Kubernetes and Helm for service deployment AWS IAM for access control Datadog for log management, alerts, and monitoring When and where will you work? The work arrangement is 100% remote with objective-based management, allowing you to work from anywhere in Argentina, during an 8-hour daily window.
