The candidate must have proven experience in refinery processing unit projects. In this key role, we offer you the opportunity to work in an environment that values operational excellence, personal initiative, and a strong focus on results. **What Do We Value as Differentiators?** * **Academic background:** Industrial Engineering or related field. * **Professional experience:** Minimum of 4 years in a similar position. Experience in refinery processing unit projects. * **Technical knowledge:** Knowledge of Project Management Methodology (mandatory) * **Software tools:** Proficiency in Primavera/OPC (mandatory) * **Language:** Intermediate English (mandatory) **What Will Be Your Key Challenges?** * Develop and integrate the project plan for the defined execution and contracting strategy(ies), participating in their development and translating such plan into a schedule and associated resource histogram. * Analyze schedules, histograms, and execution plans of bids by validating sequences, durations, and resources to ensure feasibility and alignment with the project plan. Review associated physical progress curves. * Update the project schedule based on approved scope and awarded contracts. Perform control and monitoring of tasks to ensure timely completion of activities and milestones. Update physical progress curves and resource curves from the current schedule to ensure proper temporal distribution of cash flow. * Participate in identifying, tracking, and updating cost- and schedule-related risks to anticipate impacts and define mitigation actions on planning during project execution. * Monitor physical progress of the project by tracking progress indicators and consolidating information to identify deviations and generate reports for decision-making. Track and control deliverables according to contractual frequency. * Develop physical progress and resource curves from the current schedule to ensure proper temporal distribution of cash flow. * Validate physical progress for contract certification and supporting documentation to ensure consistency with the project plan. * Provide planning inputs to economic estimation by defining sequences, durations, and resources to ensure coherence between estimated costs and the project’s execution strategy. * Manage planning databases and tools by updating historical data. * Coordinate schedule-related matters with contractors. * Participate in preparing project progress reports at varying frequencies and levels of detail required. **Position Information** * Work location: Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires * Travel availability: Occasionally If you are someone who: * Works with excellence and professionalism. * Gives your best every day, values meritocracy, and always strives to go the extra mile. * Views challenges as opportunities to innovate and learn. * Enjoys teamwork and exchanging diverse perspectives. * Approaches projects with passion and commitment. * Promotes a positive work environment built on empathy, active listening, and respect.
