Job Summary: We are seeking a Director of Artificial Intelligence to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of AI and advanced analytics capabilities to automate financial processes and personalize services. We work with over **500 companies** across key industries and are currently expanding regionally across Latin America. **Who We’re Looking For** We seek a **Director of Artificial Intelligence** to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of our **AI and advanced analytics** capabilities. You will be responsible for developing data- and predictive intelligence-driven products that improve operational efficiency, decision-making, and business profitability. Your mission will be to transform information into a **value engine**, scaling Machine Learning and generative AI models that drive financial process automation and service personalization. **What You’ll Do** **1) AI Strategy and Vision** * Define and execute Kashio’s **AI and data strategy**. * Develop the **intelligent product roadmap** in collaboration with Product, Technology, and Operations. * Foster a company-wide **data-driven culture**. * Ensure **data governance, quality, and privacy** (GDPR, PCI DSS). **2) AI Solution Development** * Lead development of **ML and generative AI models** for scoring, reconciliation, payment prediction, and automation. * Implement **MLOps**, experimentation, and production model monitoring practices. * Ensure measurable AI impact on **operational efficiency, retention, and revenue**. **3) Team Leadership and Collaboration** * Build and lead teams in **Data Science, MLOps, and Data Engineering**. * Collaborate with Product and Technology to integrate AI into the **customer experience and business workflow**. * Maintain relationships with strategic partners, universities, and AI communities. **Requirements** * 7+ years of experience in **data science, applied AI, or advanced analytics**. * Experience leading technical teams in **fintech or SaaS environments**. * Proficiency in **Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, MLOps, and modern data architectures**. * Strong knowledge of **generative models, NLP, and deep learning**. * Experience with **public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure)** and scalable architectures. * Advanced English. **What Would Make You Stand Out?** * Experience applying AI to **financial products** or **payment automation**. * Ability to translate business objectives into **measurable data science projects**. * Innovative mindset and results orientation. * Up-to-date knowledge of the **Fintech & AI ecosystem in LATAM**. **If you’re ready to power Kashio’s intelligence, send your CV to recruitment@kashio.net** Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $1.500,00 - $1.800,00 per month Application Question(s): * How many years of experience do you have leading data science, applied AI, or advanced analytics initiatives? * Have you led Data Science, Data Engineering, MLOps, or AI teams in fintech, SaaS, or technology environments? * Have you developed or led AI- or ML-powered products with measurable business impact? * What types of use cases have you worked on directly? * Do you have experience deploying models into production and operating MLOps pipelines? * How proficient are you in Python and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch? * Have you worked with generative models or NLP in real-world business scenarios? * Do you have experience with scalable cloud architectures on AWS, GCP, or Azure? * Have you worked with data governance, privacy, or standards such as GDPR or PCI DSS? * Have you translated business objectives into AI roadmaps with impact on efficiency, revenue, or profitability? * If you joined Kashio tomorrow, how would you define an AI strategy for a rapidly expanding regional B2B SaaS fintech? * How do you decide which AI initiatives are worth investing in—and which are not?
