Job Description: We are seeking a **Senior Security Operations Engineer** to join our security team at a leading blockchain services company. This role focuses on strengthening security operations and enhancing incident response capabilities through the implementation of strategic and advanced technical solutions. We are looking for a highly technical, collaborative professional with a strong sense of responsibility. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and implement advanced techniques to detect security events, anomalous activities, and risks such as product abuse and fraud. * Establish comprehensive incident management procedures: preparation, detection, analysis, containment, eradication, recovery, and post-incident review. * Configure and maintain perimeter security controls, including WAF, firewall configurations, Zero Trust solutions, and DDoS protection. * Centralize and optimize security log monitoring across both on-premises and cloud environments. * Automate security patch application processes. * Participate in projects related to threat modeling, audits, vulnerability scanning, and development of custom tools. * Provide technical guidance to internal teams on best practices for incident detection and response. * Promote an organization-wide security culture through cross-functional collaboration. **Requirements:** * Advanced proficiency in English. * 5+ years of experience in security operations, incident management, and cybersecurity. * Passion for Web3 and blockchain technologies (prior experience preferred). * Solid knowledge of threat detection, control automation, vulnerability management, network security, and SIEM solutions. * Experience handling incidents such as unauthorized access, DDoS attacks, XSS, phishing, and service abuse. * Advanced analytical skills with a strategic and creative mindset. * Experience administering Linux systems, Bash, and Python; familiarity with Go and Google Cloud Platform is desirable. **Benefits:** * 100% remote contractor position. * Competitive salary in USD.
