Position Summary: We are seeking a professional to develop and execute the procurement plan, manage inventory levels, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely material delivery. Sika has local presence in 100 countries and operates over 400 manufacturing facilities. **Job Description** * Develop and implement the **materials procurement plan** aligned with production demand. * Manage **inventory levels** to ensure material availability without generating excess stock. * Analyze **demand forecasts** and adjust purchasing to align with plant requirements. * Coordinate with suppliers to **ensure timely delivery** of materials and prevent production delays. * Monitor **supplier performance** and evaluate potential improvements in lead times and costs. * Prepare reports on **material status**, highlighting potential deviations or risks. * Collaborate closely with the production department to **optimize materials planning** and enhance operational efficiency. **Requirements** * Advanced student and/or graduate in Industrial Engineering or related field. * Minimum 2 years of experience in materials planning or inventory management. * Familiarity with materials management tools and ERP systems. * Ability to perform **data analysis** and generate accurate forecasts. * Strong **communication and negotiation skills** with suppliers. * Commitment to continuous improvement and resource optimization. **Additional Information** We build trust every day; therefore, our commitment is to equal opportunity, where the selection process focuses on individuals and their capabilities, merits, and achievements.
