Reduce obsolescence and manage material expiration dates. **Unilever is hiring a****Call Off Planner** ================================================= **Function:** Planning **Reports to:** Planning Manager **Scope:** Local **Location:** Pilar Plant Administration **Terms & Conditions:** Full time **Purpose of the Role** The Call Off Planner is responsible for on-site operational material planning, ensuring the timely supply of raw materials and packaging materials in the short term (0–1 weeks), aligned with the production plan and under a JIT (Just-in-Time) framework. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- ### **1\. Material Scheduling** * Schedule material deliveries with suppliers, translating the weekly plan into a daily supply schedule. * Execute and monitor daily call-offs for raw materials and packaging materials. * Identify and escalate risks impacting the weekly production plan. * Manage operational relationships with suppliers, resolving short-term deviations and adjusting the plan as needed. * Escalate availability issues to Planning and Procurement (L2 Hub). * Participate in weekly plan review meetings. * Support plant innovations and transitions (trials, ramp up / ramp down). ### **2\. Working Capital Management** * Monitor and manage on-site material inventory. * Ensure appropriate stock levels and provisions. * Validate correct receipt and system recording of stock. ### **3\. Waste Management** * Execute actions related to obsolescence reduction (SLOB). * Manage material expiration dates and shelf-life. **Role Impact** ------------------- * Ensures short-term operational continuity of production. * Minimizes risks of shortages and line stoppages. * Optimizes inventory and reduces waste. * Connects planning, suppliers, and on-site execution.
