At AES, we are seeking a Field Operator U.1-4 **Role Description:** Perform field operations within the assigned power plant area and monitor process and product variables to ensure service continuity, equipment availability, and facility performance. **Responsibilities:** * Analyze operational variables in the field; report abnormalities to the control room and implement corrective actions as needed—including interventions on mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic equipment. Perform first-line maintenance tasks on equipment. * Conduct startup and shutdown procedures for generating units and/or auxiliary equipment. Coordinate and perform required electrical (high-, medium-, and low-voltage) and manual operational maneuvers, coordinating with other departments as necessary. * Carry out operational rounds, verifying equipment parameters and recording observations. * Assess any anomalies that could jeopardize production (in terms of both quantity and quality), as well as any incidents potentially affecting the environment or personnel and facility safety—immediately notifying the Shift Supervisor. * Issue corrective maintenance requests. Control and complete field control forms for monitored variables, completing established quality records for the area. * Record and report non-conformities to the Shift Supervisor and/or Control Room Operator. * Comply with internal Safety and Environmental regulations, as well as applicable Argentine legislation. Participate in root cause investigation processes and continuous improvement initiatives. * Coordinate activities related to compliance with Integrated Management System standards and norms. **Requirements:** * Completed technical secondary education (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Electromechanical, or Chemical). Equivalent higher technical degrees or advanced engineering students. * Over one year of experience in similar roles involving power plant or continuous-process operations. * Ability to read electrical diagrams, P&IDs, and other relevant documentation. * Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Excel and Word. * Technical English proficiency preferred
