Picking and Packing Operator

Description

Job Summary: Responsible for executing picking, packing, and palletizing of goods, operating equipment and using WMS systems for inventory control. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in picking, packing, and palletizing goods. 2. Operation of electric pallet jacks and electric stackers. 3. Use of WMS/HH for order management and control. • Perform unit picking according to work orders issued by WMS / HH in high-turnover operations with multiple SKUs. • Carry out packaging and packing of parcels, adhering to quality and presentation standards defined by each client. • Palletize prepared goods applying correct stowage criteria: weight distribution, interlocking of layers, product orientation, and maximum permitted height, ensuring load stability. • Apply pallet-building parameterization criteria defined by the operation and propose improvements for new products. • Operate electric pallet jacks and electric stackers to move built pallets to the staging or dispatch area. • Use TRF / HH terminals to confirm picking, packing, and movement of each order in the system. • Label units and pallets per each client’s instructions: shipping labels, barcodes, recipient information. • Verify product integrity during the process and report damaged goods to the supervisor. • Meet productivity indicators (UPH) established for the operation. • Maintain order and cleanliness at the workstation, aisles, and staging area. • Participate in cyclic counts and full inventory audits when required. -Requirements- Minimum Education: High School 2 years of experience Age: 20 years or older Knowledge Areas: Quality, Loading and Unloading of Goods, Warehouse, E-commerce, Packaging, Shipping Logistics, Operations, Logistics Operations, Organization, Warehouse Organization, Picking, WMS, Retail Management Keywords: operator, operario, operator
