Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Waiter/Waitress to deliver exceptional service, take orders, make recommendations, and collaborate with the team at a gastronomic group in Palermo Soho. We are seeking an EXPERIENCED WAITER/WAITRESS with at least one year of experience in restaurants or bars (mandatory). RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Provide excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction Welcome and greet guests Take orders and serve food and beverages Make menu recommendations, suggest upsells, and offer add-ons when appropriate Provide detailed information about the menu (e.g., portion sizes, ingredients, or possible food allergies) Set up, clear, and clean tables Communicate order details to kitchen staff Check the cleanliness and presentation of dishes and report any issues Present the bill and follow up on payment Set up and break down the dining room, maintaining cleanliness and order Restock and/or organize necessary utensils and tableware for service Collaborate with the rest of the team to ensure consistent service REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress for at least 1 year Strong service orientation Knowledge of classic cocktails, beers, and wines Food Handling Certification Residence in nearby areas (not mandatory) Advanced English (not mandatory) We seek a person with a positive attitude, responsibility, friendliness, neatness, and punctuality—someone eager to join a committed work team.
