For a major mining company in Salta Environmental Manager A leading lithium mining company in Salta is seeking an Environmental Manager to lead the environmental strategy for its operations and development projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and promoting sustainable management aligned with industry best practices. The position will play a key role in implementing corporate environmental policies, leading on-site technical teams, managing environmental indicators, and coordinating with operational, regulatory, and community stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate will actively participate in initiatives related to water management, waste, biodiversity, emissions, and progressive mine closure. Requirements: University degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or related fields. Postgraduate degree or Master’s in Environmental Management, Environmental Impact Assessment, or similar (preferred). 10–15 years of experience in environmental management within mining, oil & gas, or other complex industries, including at least 5 years in leadership roles. Experience in lithium mining or brine extraction (highly valued). Knowledge of IFC, IRMA, and ISO 14001 standards, as well as Argentine environmental legislation. Fluent English (spoken and written); French is desirable. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing budgets. Valid driver’s license and fitness for work at high geographical altitude.
