Oversee defect resolution and hypercare incident management We are searching for a **Chief Data Migration Expert** with SAP module knowledge to join our team. The Data Migration Expert takes ownership of the complete end\-to\-end execution of their data migration area and objects, collaborating closely with local business and functional units. This role bridges the Global Data Migration Expert and the DM Execution business teams, making sure that local requirements are accurately reflected in conversion workbooks. **Responsibilities** * Take on a role suited to large ERP initiatives, with responsibilities that may also fall to Global Data Migration Experts (GDMEs) for particular projects * Act as the deployment wave focal contact for data objects included in the deployment project migration and local data migration streams * Coordinate with Business Data Owners (BDOs) at global, regional, and local levels, along with deployment Functional Experts, ETL team members, and legacy system participants * Steer migration activities across every stage of the deployment project * Confirm the reliability of data transformation tools and check their outputs during deployment wave projects * Prepare Data Migration Workbench (DMW) load files and execute initial validations on migrated data * Perform Data Verification Testing (DVT) scripts to guarantee the correctness and completeness of migrated information * Oversee defect resolution and hypercare incident management for the data objects assigned to the role * Handle design defect fixes at the local level or forward them to Global Data Migration Experts (GDMEs) when necessary **Requirements** * At least 7 years of applied professional experience in data migration or related fields * A minimum of 2 years of experience directing and managing development teams * Strong hands\-on knowledge of SAP, spanning both SAP S/4 HANA and ECC environments * Working understanding of SAP Batch Management (BM), Inventory Management (IM), and Extended Warehouse Management (eWM) * Awareness of integration points with FI/CO, SD, PP, MM, and QM modules, particularly in Lifesciences or GxP settings * Robust ERP project implementation experience built through involvement in large\-scale programs * Balanced strategic and hands\-on approach, including chairing meetings, monitoring progress, and effectively addressing issues * Broad experience delivering data migration in multi\-country and multi\-system settings * Proven expertise in data migration testing methods and industry practices * SAP certification in at least one relevant functional stream, complemented by hands\-on proficiency in SAP BODS * Understanding of GxP requirements and Computer System Validation (CSV) procedures * Fluent English communication at B2 level or above, in both written and verbal contexts **We offer** * International projects with top brands * Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers * Healthcare benefits * Employee financial programs * Paid time off and sick leave * Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses * Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000\+ courses * Global career opportunities * Volunteer and community involvement opportunities * EPAM Employee Groups * Award\-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
