This year, our strategic objectives focus on evolving robust platforms and integrating AI agents; thus, we seek someone with the curiosity required to lead these challenges. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in the AWS ecosystem with thorough understanding of Node.js’s internal architecture, as well as the ability to mentor junior-level professionals while consistently ensuring code excellence. **Responsibilities / Responsibilities** * Platform Development: Design and build robust microservices using Node.js and TypeScript, ensuring superior quality standards. * Cloud-Native Architecture: Implement and optimize solutions within the AWS stack (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EKS), prioritizing performance and high availability. * Optimization and Diagnostics: Monitor application performance in production, performing profiling tasks to identify CPU bottlenecks, optimize memory usage, and resolve memory leaks. * Technical Evolution: Actively participate in architectural decisions and technical decision-making that directly impact system scalability. * Collaboration and Mentoring: Serve as a technical reference for the development team, promoting best practices such as Clean Code and Testing, and supporting the growth of internal talent. * Full Ownership: Assume responsibility for the entire software lifecycle—from technical conception through to production deployment. **Requirements / Requirements** Must-Have: * Node.js & TypeScript: More than 5 years of proven, hands-on backend application development experience. Advanced knowledge of Node.js internals is required (Event Loop, Worker Threads, Streams and Backpressure handling, as well as familiarity with V8 internals and Libuv). * AWS Stack: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks (Serverless or SAM). * Databases: Advanced experience (5+ years) managing both SQL and NoSQL databases. * Proactive identification of bottlenecks and effective communication skills to translate technical solutions into business value. * Reside in Argentina. *Nice-to-Have:* * Practical experience using Node.js diagnostic and profiling tools. * Prior experience or strong interest in developing service platforms and/or AI agents. * Knowledge of agile methodologies and continuous delivery environments (CI/CD) **What We Offer (Argentina) – Employment Relationship (ARG)*** Competitive senior-level market-aligned salary, with periodic adjustment schemes. * Premium private healthcare coverage for the employee’s immediate family. * Work equipment (latest-generation laptop). * Technical training programs and licenses for learning platforms. * Flexible, people-centric culture focused on work-life balance.
