We are an exploration company operating lodges and conservation reserves in remote locations across South America, with presence in 9 destinations across 4 countries: Chile, Argentina, Peru, and Bolivia. Explore a world of possibilities—and join our team! **Position Objective:** Safely and comfortably transport our travelers during all explorations, check-in, and check-out, ensuring excellence in service throughout each journey and facilitating meaningful connection with the environment. **Main Responsibilities:** Prepare the van for scheduled and potential transfers by inspecting tires, fuel, cleanliness, lights, climate control system, seat belts, safety equipment, and required documentation per protocol. Conduct van transfers while complying with national road regulations, Explora’s standards, and safety protocols. Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete required checklists, mileage logs, and other records. Clean the van before and after each service. Load and unload luggage/equipment needed for each exploration/service in coordination with the assigned guide. Assist travelers entering and exiting vehicles. Ensure traveler and team member comfort and safety during transit and all interactions. Set up meals and snacks during explorations. Collaborate with the guide to identify points of interest for travelers. Train fellow staff on routes and driver operations. Participate in and promote sustainability initiatives. Continuously safeguard the territories where Explora operates and their heritage. Respect designated roads and trails, as well as local wildlife and communities. Application Requirements: Completed secondary education. Minimum 2 years’ experience in passenger transportation (mandatory). Valid D3 driver’s license and authorization from Santa Cruz Province. Willingness to reside in El Chaltén or surrounding areas. Basic knowledge of preventive vehicle maintenance. We build Explora together!
