At AES we are looking for an HRIS Specialist **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced HRIS Specialist with strong expertise in Workday. The ideal candidate will lead HR systems initiatives, support business operations, gather requirements, configure solutions, and partner with HR Business Partners and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to optimize Workday functionality. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead analysis, configuration, testing, and support activities for Workday HR systems. * Collaborate with HR Business Partners and HR COEs to gather and document business requirements. * Configure and maintain Workday business processes, eligibility rules, and validations. * Support Workday releases, enhancements, and system upgrades. * Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing system support. * Analyze current processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and compliance. * Create functional specifications, test scripts, training materials, and process documentation. * Participate in end\-to\-end testing including unit testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). * Ensure data integrity, compliance, and system governance standards are maintained. * Partner with business and technical teams to resolve system\-related issues. **Preferred Experience** * Workday Time Tracking and Absence configuration and support. * Workday Security administration including role\-based security and user access management. **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or related field. * 5\+ years of HRIS or HR Technology experience. * 3\+ years of hands\-on Workday experience. * Experience with Workday configuration, business processes, and reporting. * Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills. * Experience working in cross\-functional and enterprise environments.
