We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist to handle payroll operations in Argentina, guaranteeing adherence to applicable labor, social security, and tax laws. In this position, you will oversee the precise and on\-time execution of payroll cycles while acting as a reliable resource for employees regarding payroll questions. This is a great opportunity for a meticulous professional with deep expertise in local payroll rules and procedures.
**Responsibilities**
* Carry out full monthly payroll runs for employees in Argentina, guaranteeing precision and on\-time delivery
* Oversee final settlements and termination procedures in line with current legislation
* Manage and oversee the calculation of fourth\-category income tax
* Handle the submission and monitoring of social security contributions through the Digital Payroll Book
* Manage payroll adjustments including vacations, leaves of absence, overtime, and absences
* Perform checks and reconciliations to guarantee accurate payroll computations
* Offer guidance and address employee questions concerning payroll topics
* Maintain continuous adherence to applicable labor, social security, and tax obligations
**Requirements**
* At least 3 years of relevant experience handling payroll in Argentina
* Strong knowledge and practical experience with monthly and final payroll calculations
* Experience handling Income Tax (4th category) settlements
* Understanding of social security contributions and skilled use of the Digital Payroll Book
* Experience overseeing vacations, leaves of absence, overtime, and termination procedures
* Experience working with payroll software such as Tango, Visma, or equivalent systems
* Advanced Excel proficiency for payroll calculations, reconciliations, and reporting
* Strong written and spoken English proficiency at a B2 level or higher
