At Campari Group, we are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our team in Argentina, based in Buenos Aires (hybrid model).
This position will serve as the primary legal contact for various business units, providing comprehensive legal advice and supporting both strategic and operational decision-making. Additionally, the role will actively manage contracts, litigation, compliance, labor matters, and coordinate external law firms.
We seek a candidate with a strong background in corporate and commercial law, ability to thrive in dynamic environments, and a strong business orientation. The individual will interact with local, regional, and global teams, acting as a true strategic partner to the organization. This is a regionally scoped role reporting to the Legal \& Compliance and Public Affairs \& Sustainability Director.
**What We Are Looking For:**
* Law degree and active bar registration in Argentina.
* Over 8 years of experience in corporate legal roles, either in-house or at law firms.
* Experience in the beverage or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry will be considered a plus.
* Solid expertise in contracts, commercial law, litigation, labor law, and compliance. Experience in Public Affairs will be considered a plus.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and operate effectively in matrixed and multicultural environments.
* Experience in regulatory matters or interaction with public authorities will be considered an advantage, though not mandatory.
* Business-oriented profile with sound legal judgment and ability to balance legal risks against commercial needs.
* High autonomy, sense of urgency, and prioritization skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Advanced English. Portuguese will be considered a plus.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide comprehensive legal advice to various business units in Argentina.
* Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, service, distribution, supply, and strategic agreements.
* Lead litigation and dispute management, coordinating legal strategy with external law firms.
* Identify and mitigate legal risks, supporting organizational decision-making.
* Monitor regulatory and legislative changes that may impact the business.
* Manage relationships with external law firms and other specialized advisors.
* Advise on labor matters and support Human Resources on strategic people-related issues.
* Promote adherence to corporate policies, compliance programs, and data protection requirements.
* Design and deliver legal and compliance training for internal stakeholders.
* Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure alignment of strategies, processes, and best practices.
* Drive improvements in Legal Operations processes, reporting, and tools.
