




Summary: Provide emergency medical care, manage an onboard clinic, and ensure guest and crew well-being in an expedition setting. Highlights: 1. Provide emergency medical care to guests and crew members. 2. Maintain and manage the onboard medical clinic. 3. Collaborate for the safety and well-being of all passengers. Provide emergency medical care to guests and crew members in accordance with company protocols and medical guidelines * Maintain and manage the onboard medical clinic, including inventory and restocking of medical supplies * Conduct regular safety drills and trainings for crew members on emergency medical procedures * Collaborate with the ship's captain and other crew members to ensure the safety and well\-being of all passengers * Monitor and track any medical incidents and report them to the appropriate authorities * Communicate with onshore medical facilities for any necessary consultations or evacuations * Maintain accurate medical records for all patients treated onboard * Assist with any other duties as assigned by the ship's captain or medical director Qualifications: * Current certification as a Registered Nurse or Paramedic * Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency medicine * Experience in remote or wilderness medicine preferred * Previous experience working on a cruise ship or in a similar expedition setting is a plus * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Ability to work well in a team environment * Willingness to work long hours and be on call as needed
