We combine technical excellence with human proximity. ### **Senior QA Automation Engineer \| Contractor LATAM** **Location:** Remote (LATAM) **Contract Type:** Contractor **Industry:** IT Services / Software Development **Timezone:** Adjusted to EST/PST (US Business Hours) **English Level:** Advanced ### **About the Role** This position combines manual and automated testing responsibilities with hands\-on DevOps tasks, requiring a strong technical profile capable of ensuring quality across the full delivery pipeline. As a Senior professional, you will own the QA process end\-to\-end while executing DevOps\-related activities that support test automation, environment stability, and CI/CD integration. ### **Responsibilities** **QA \& Test Automation** * Design, develop, and maintain end\-to\-end automated test suites using Playwright with TypeScript. * Execute the migration of existing automated tests from Cypress to Playwright. * Define, create, and manage comprehensive test plans and test cycles using Zephyr Scale. * Design and execute manual test cases, ensuring full coverage across functional, regression, and exploratory testing. * Identify, report, and track defects with clear documentation and reproducible steps. * Implement and execute performance and load testing using K6, including script creation and result analysis. * Generate QA reports and quality metrics to support data\-driven decision\-making and continuous improvement. * Ensure quality gates are strictly met before releases to prevent production defects. **DevOps \& Infrastructure Support** * Perform hands\-on DevOps tasks to support testing and delivery workflows. * Manage and resolve dependencies required for automation frameworks and test execution. * Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines. * Monitor applications and environments using tools such as Grafana to identify stability issues. * Support environment connectivity and troubleshoot pipeline or infrastructure\-related issues impacting test execution. * Understand and navigate complex system architectures across test, staging, and production environments. ### **Requirements** **Must\-Have** * **Senior\-level experience** in QA Automation and Manual Testing. * Strong hands\-on experience with **Playwright** for automation. * Advanced proficiency in **TypeScript**. * Proven experience with performance/load testing using **K6** or equivalent tools. * Experience working with test management tools such as **Zephyr Scale**. * Solid understanding of **CI/CD pipelines** and experience performing DevOps\-related tasks. * Experience with **TestKube** for test execution and working knowledge of **Kubernetes** concepts. * Experience with monitoring tools like **Grafana**. * **Advanced English level** for professional collaboration in international environments. **Nice\-to\-Have** * Experience applying **AI tools** to QA processes (test generation, analysis, or productivity improvements). * Familiarity with cloud\-based architectures and modern DevOps practices. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. ### **What We Offer** * Competitive compensation in USD. * 100% remote work within LATAM. * Opportunity to work on high\-impact projects for international clients. * A "people\-first" culture focused on professional growth and technical excellence. * A collaborative environment where your technical ownership directly impacts business success.
