Summary: Join a growing moving and storage company as a Full Stack Developer, blending hands-on AI development with deep business systems work to build real, production tools. Highlights: 1. Develop AI-powered internal tools using Anthropic Claude API 2. Translate business problems into software solutions 3. Contribute to a company serious about building technology ABOUT BURLY BOYZ MOVING & STORAGE Burly Boyz Moving & Storage (BBM) is a growing Canadian moving and storage company with operations across British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario — with depots in Vancouver/Delta, Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto. We move homes and businesses across the country, managing everything from local moves to complex long-distance relocations. We run a real operation — Sales teams quoting and booking customers, Logistics coordinating crews and trucks, and Customer Service managing the experience from first call to final invoice. And we are serious about building technology to make all of it smarter. WHAT WE ARE BUILDING We are actively developing our own AI-powered internal tools using the Anthropic Claude API. This is not a vague 'AI strategy' — we are building real, production tools right now, including: -A Claude-powered quoting assistant that helps our Sales team produce fast, accurate estimates for local and long-distance moves -An AI call co-pilot that supports Relocation Specialists in real time during customer calls -Automated workflow integrations across our tech stack: Salesforce, Jobber, QuickBooks Online, Samsara, and Dialpad -Reporting and operations dashboards that surface the right information to the right team at the right time We build what we need. We do not wait for off-the-shelf software to catch up. THE ROLE We are hiring one or two Full Stack Developers to join our systems team, reporting to our Systems Manager, Daniel Thomas. This is a unique, work from home position that blends hands-on AI development with deep business systems work. The ideal candidate can do two things well: build production-grade tools using the Claude API and modern web stack, and think clearly about how a moving and storage company actually operates — so that what gets built solves real problems for real teams. If we hire two people, one will lean more toward AI/technical architecture and the other toward business systems analysis and workflow design. If we find one candidate who does both, that works too. We will let the talent guide the structure. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON Sales Team: -Claude-powered quoting tools that help Relocation Specialists generate accurate estimates faster -Real-time call transcription so Relocation Specialists can stay focused on the customer, not on taking notes -AI assisted call co-pilot — live prompts, objection handling, and automatic post-call summaries -Automated SMS and text messaging to clients — confirmations, follow-ups, and updates triggered by job milestones -Improved communication workflows between customers and sales staff, reducing response time and missed follow-ups -CRM automations in Salesforce that eliminate manual data entry and surface follow-up tasks automatically Customer Service Team: -Automated customer communication workflows — confirmations, reminders, status updates -Tools that surface customer history and job details instantly during interactions -Post-job feedback and issue tracking integrations Logistics & Operations Team: -Dispatch and crew scheduling automations connected to Jobber and Samsara -Route and capacity optimization tools -Operational dashboards that give managers real-time visibility into job status, crew location, and fleet WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Must Have: -Full stack development experience — JavaScript/Node.js and/or Python -Experience building with REST APIs and integrating multiple third-party platforms -Genuine understanding of how a service or operations-based business runs end-to-end -Ability to translate business problems into software solutions without being over-specified -Strong written and verbal English — C1 level or above, non-negotiable -Available 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (MST), Monday to Friday Strong Advantage: -Hands-on experience building with the Anthropic Claude API or other LLMs (OpenAI, etc.) in production -Salesforce developer or administrator experience or certification -Familiarity with Jobber, QuickBooks Online, Samsara, or Dialpad -Experience working with North American companies remotely -Background in logistics, field services, moving, or a similar industry -COMPENSATION & BENEFITS -$2,000 – $3,500 USD per month, based on experience -10 paid vacation days per year (after 1 year of employment) -8 paid holidays per year -Long-term role — built to grow as we grow . -Requerimientos- Educación mínima: Universitario 3 años de experiencia Idiomas: Inglés Edad: entre 21 y 40 años Conocimientos: Api, Javascript, Node.js, Python, Salesforce Palabras clave: desarrollador, programador, negocio, business
