Job Summary: We are seeking a Diesel Engine Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines for trucks and double-decker buses, ensuring vehicles operate correctly. Key Responsibilities: 1. Diagnosis and repair of heavy-duty vehicle diesel engines 2. Preventive and corrective maintenance according to established plans 3. Team collaboration on general maintenance tasks At Grupo Flecha, we have an opening for a Diesel Engine Mechanic to perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on engines for trucks and double-decker buses. Main Responsibilities: Diagnose faults and perform repairs on heavy-duty vehicle diesel engines. Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble engine components (engine block, cylinder head, crankshaft, fuel injectors, etc.). Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches, comparators, etc. Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to established plans. Record work performed, spare parts used, and technical observations. Collaborate with the workshop team on general mechanical maintenance tasks. Comply with safety, order, and cleanliness protocols in the workplace. Manage repairs with machining workshops (Desirable) Job Requirements: Technical training in automotive mechanics, heavy-duty mechanics, or related field. Minimum 2 years’ verifiable experience repairing large-capacity diesel engines. Proficiency in using mechanical measuring tools and diagnostic equipment.
