Collaborate with global teams and influence engineering standards We are looking for a **Software Engineer II/III (Backend Focus)** to join our client’s Social Engineering team, responsible for designing, building, and scaling high\-load backend systems that process **billions of transactions per day**. This is a direct\-hire role within a global engineering organization of **900\+ people**, collaborating with teams in the **US, Israel, and the UK**. You will work on end\-to\-end development, modern architectures, microservices, cloud environments, and large\-scale performance challenges. The Social team works primarily with **Python and its modern ecosystem**, building mission\-critical systems across Innovid’s global ad\-tech platform. **Responsibilities*** Design and develop **critical backend services**, infrastructure components, APIs, and core modules. * Build and maintain **microservices on AWS**, ensuring scalability, resiliency, and high availability. * Develop systems capable of supporting **billions of daily transactions** in distributed environments. * Ensure production readiness, including **performance, observability, stability, and incident ownership**. * Lead software design efforts and contribute to architectural decisions. * Participate in **end\-to\-end development**: design, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring. * Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering Managers, and cross\-functional R\&D teams. * Influence engineering standards, best practices, and overall technical excellence. * Mentor teammates and contribute to a developer\-centric culture of quality and ownership. **Requirements** **Education \& Language*** Estudiantes avanzados/as o graduados/as en **Ingeniería en Sistemas, Computación, Electrónica o Informática / Licenciatura en computación.
