Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Sound Engineer specializing in dubbing post-production to handle mixing, quality control, and premixing of dubbed productions. Key Highlights: 1. We are looking for a Sound Engineer with experience in dubbing post-production to join our team in Argentina. The selected candidate will be responsible for final mixing, quality control, and premixing of Spanish-dubbed productions, including dramas, series, films, and animated content. Responsibilities * Perform dialogue premixing for dubbed content: cleaning, editing, synchronization, and leveling. * Execute final mixing of episodes and films, integrating dialogues, music, and effects (M\&E) according to client technical specifications. * Conduct technical and synchronization quality control (QC) on in-house and third-party material, documenting observations and corrections. * Ensure compliance with each client’s and platform’s delivery specifications (loudness levels, file formats, file naming conventions). * Identify and resolve audio issues: noise, distortion, phase misalignment, inconsistencies related to room acoustics or microphone usage. * Meet established delivery deadlines outlined in the production schedule. * Coordinate with dubbing direction, editing, and production teams to resolve technical issues. Requirements * Proven experience in audio mixing and post-production for dubbing, film, television, or digital content. * Proficiency in Pro Tools (mandatory); familiarity with other DAWs is a plus. * Knowledge of loudness standards and delivery specifications for platforms and broadcasters. * Critical listening skills and attention to detail for quality control tasks. * Ability to manage high volumes of material under tight deadlines. * Availability to work on-site in Argentina. Preferred Qualifications * Prior experience in dubbing studios. * Proficiency with audio restoration plugins (e.g., iZotope RX or similar). * Experience mixing content for children and animation. * Technical English proficiency to interpret specifications from international clients.
