Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to build the procurement function for a growing SaaS company, designing processes and negotiating contracts with full autonomy. We are looking for a **Senior Procurement Manager** with true ownership over everything Humand purchases and contracts: software, professional services, cloud infrastructure, and external vendors. This is not a mechanical execution role—you will design processes from scratch, negotiate contracts, and generate measurable savings with visible business impact. This is your opportunity to build an entire function with full autonomy at a fast-growing company that bets on the people who get things done. ️ **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the end-to-end procurement process: identifying needs, evaluating vendors, negotiating terms, managing contracts, and closing deals. * Manage and optimize the software and services stack—negotiating renewals, consolidating tools, and eliminating redundancies. * Negotiate cloud infrastructure contracts (AWS, GCP or similar), SLAs for critical services, and agreements with consulting firms or professional service providers. * Design and implement procurement policies: approval workflows, authorization thresholds by spend amount, and vendor evaluation criteria. * Build and maintain a centralized vendor database with contracts, expiration dates, costs, SLAs, and vendor performance metrics. * Collaborate with Finance to forecast costs, monitor procurement budgets, and generate savings and ROI reports from negotiations. * Work with Legal to review contractual terms, exit clauses, data protection provisions, and compliance requirements. * Serve as the single point of contact for all internal teams requiring procurement support: Tech, People, Marketing, Sales, and Ops. ️ **What We Value** * 5+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management—ideally within technology or SaaS companies. * Experience negotiating enterprise software (SaaS), cloud services, and professional services contracts. * Proven ability to deliver measurable savings: renegotiations, consolidations, and vendor switches with quantifiable impact. * Advanced Excel / Sheets skills for cost analysis, vendor comparisons, and scenario modeling. * Fluent Spanish and professional English for contracts and negotiations with global vendors. * Ownership mindset: you identify needs, evaluate options, and arrive with recommendations. ️ **Bonus If You Also Have…** * Experience in VC-backed startups where procurement processes were built from scratch. * Use of AI to automate procurement tasks: contract comparison, proposal analysis, or expiry tracking. * Background in Finance, Legal, or Operations that complements procurement strategy with broader business context. **Join the Humand team and help us transform the future of work!** Our **mission** is to empower people at work so they become happier and more successful.
