In this role, you won't just be writing code; you will be a key architect of the user experience, owning significant features from the initial design phase through to production deployment. You’ll work within an **Agile/Scrum** environment, collaborating closely with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps to turn complex requirements into seamless, intuitive interfaces. **What you will do:** * **Feature Ownership:** Lead the end\-to\-end lifecycle of significant front\-end features, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing operational support. * **Architecture \& Design:** Apply software engineering fundamentals—such as data structures and performance optimization—to build robust, "testable" front\-end architectures. * **API Integration:** Design and integrate with **RESTful or GraphQL APIs**, ensuring secure and efficient data flow between the front\-end and back\-end services. * **Quality Assurance:** Implement automated testing strategies, including unit and integration tests, to ensure the reliability and stability of the user interface. * **DevOps Collaboration:** Integrate application code into **CI/CD pipelines** (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and support the deployment of web applications to major cloud providers. * **Performance \& Reliability:** Optimize browser behavior and application performance to ensure a high\-quality, fault\-tolerant user experience. **What you bring:** * **Extensive Experience:** **5\+ years** of professional software engineering experience, **dedicated to building modern web applications**. * **Core Fundamentals:** A deep, solid understanding of core web fundamentals, including **HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP**, and intricate browser behavior. * **Modern Frameworks:** Strong proficiency in modern front\-end technologies such as **React, Angular, or Vue**. * **Full\-Cycle Engineering:** Proven track record of owning features in production and a strong grounding in object\-oriented design and concurrency. * **Agile Mindset:** Demonstrated experience working in Agile teams and the ability to communicate effectively with cross\-functional partners like Design and Product. * **Technical Breadth:** Familiarity with **TypeScript** and a general understanding of how front\-end applications interact with cloud\-native building blocks (object storage, monitoring, and logging). **Nice if you have:** * **Cloud \& Containerization:** Experience with **Docker, Kubernetes**, or serverless environments (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure App Service). * **Database Knowledge:** Proficiency with relational or NoSQL databases and an understanding of schema design for data\-heavy applications. * **Backend Familiarity:** Experience with at least one primary backend language (Node.js, C\#, Java, or Python) to better facilitate full\-stack collaboration. * **Security Best Practices:** Knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols and cloud security principles. **Equal Opportunity Employer:** AspenView is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
