As a **Reefer Supervisor**, you will be responsible for supervising all refrigerated containers at the terminal and managing third-party reefer service providers to ensure proper operation, monitoring, and maintenance of reefer equipment. This role plays a key part in ensuring service quality, cargo integrity, and compliance with operational and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Supervise temperature monitoring of refrigerated containers, ensuring periodic recording in accordance with operational and customer requirements. * Coordinate and supervise preventive maintenance activities, including inspections, component replacement, and equipment control. * Ensure correct connection and disconnection of reefer containers during vessel operations in coordination with the Operations team. * Supervise the logging and documentation of incidents, temperature deviations, repairs, and other reefer-related activities. * Maintain ongoing communication with Operations and shipping lines to ensure compliance with service requirements. * Manage external reefer service provider relationships and performance, ensuring adherence to quality standards and agreed timelines. * Lead operational and technical teams, promoting a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. * Keep operational reports and metrics up to date to support decision-making and implementation of corrective actions. **What We Offer** -------------------------- At APM Terminals, we foster a strong learning and development culture that enables our people to reach their full potential.
