Position Overview **The Backend Developer role is part of the technical team of the VUCE Project, focused on the design, development, and implementation of technological solutions that ensure interoperability with government agencies. Its main objective is to guarantee the development of efficient, secure, and scalable backend services, following high standards of quality and technical compliance.** About the position ### **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain services and APIs in Python (FastAPI), ensuring performance, security, and traceability in every integration. * Implement data models and optimize queries using SQLAlchemy and relational databases. * Participate in technical decision\-making together with the Tech Lead, contributing to the definition of the project’s backend architecture. * Ensure code quality through automated testing, reviews, and proper documentation best practices. * Work closely with Frontend, QA, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to ensure interoperability and compliance with technical requirements. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of the product by proposing innovative and scalable technical solutions. ### **Qualifications and Skills** **Academic background:** University or tertiary degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, or related fields.**Work experience:** \+6 years of overall experience in software development.**Technical skills:** At least 2 years of proven experience with Python and FastAPI. Solid knowledge of relational databases, ORM (SQLAlchemy), and RESTful API design.
