We are seeking an Associate Data Engineer for a techno\-functional role supporting Discovery and Early R\&D clients. This position is ideal for someone early in their career who is motivated to work at the intersection of science, technology, and business consulting. You will collaborate closely with bioinformaticians and scientists to design and implement scalable data solutions that enable cutting\-edge drug discovery research. While a background in biology is not required, a strong interest in biomedical research, biology, or pharmaceutical R\&D is essential to thrive in this collaborative and mission\-driven environment. **What** **You’ll** **Do** * + Collaborate with bioinformaticians and scientists to understand data needs and translate them into scalable engineering solutions. + Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and workflows to support biological data processing and analysis. + Develop and optimize data storage solutions, ensuring accessibility, reliability, and performance across diverse datasets. + Apply engineering best practices \- including version control, automated testing, documentation, and continuous integration/deployment to ensure reproducibility, maintainability, and quality of scientific data workflows. + Work with structured and unstructured biological data, applying programming skills and system design thinking to integrate and transform data from multiple sources.
