We are seeking a talented and passionate **Android Software Engineer** to join our mobile engineering team, responsible for building, optimizing and maintaining native Android applications with a modern tech stack centered around Kotlin, designing intuitive interfaces and robust backend integrations that provide a seamless mobile experience for users, while collaborating closely with product managers, UX/UI designers and backend engineers to turn feature concepts into high\-performing, reliable and scalable Android applications.
**Responsibilities**
* Design, build and maintain high\-performance native Android applications using Kotlin
* Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces that adhere to Material Design guidelines
* Integrate with backend microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs to deliver dynamic content and features to mobile users
* Write clean, maintainable and testable code
* Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high quality standards and share knowledge within the team
* Write unit and UI tests to ensure application stability
* Profile app performance to optimize speed, battery consumption and memory usage
* Assist in preparing and publishing application updates to the Google Play Store
**Requirements**
* 2\+ years of experience in native Android application development
* Strong proficiency in Kotlin and deep knowledge of the Android SDK
* Understanding of modern Android architecture components and design patterns such as MVVM, MVI and Clean Architecture
* Knowledge of Dependency Injection with Hilt/Dagger and Coroutines/Flow
* Familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle and Git
* Experience with Jetpack Compose or XML\-based layouts
* Experience with JUnit and Espresso for testing purposes
* Capability to work in an Agile/Scrum team environment and collaborate via tools like Jira and Confluence
* English proficiency at B2 level or higher
