We are searching for an accomplished **Chief AI Engineer** to become part of our organization Our team is building a unified GenAI Platform that equips hundreds of product teams with robust solutions for swift AI agent creation, testing, and rollout. We spearhead the development of influential AI agents, speeding up project delivery and fostering innovation across diverse sectors. With more than 20 agents already deployed and additional projects in progress, our efforts are reshaping results in vital industries. **Responsibilities** * Architect and deliver end\-to\-end applications, AI agents, and platform modules that facilitate rapid GenAI agent creation, assessment, and launch * Create engineering tools, CI/CD workflows, and monitoring capabilities to support secure and efficient development cycles, including evaluation frameworks, canary deployments, rollback strategies, and performance tracking * Integrate secure development lifecycle and privacy\-first methodologies, such as risk analysis and access minimization * Partner with product owners, UX specialists, and subject matter experts to produce user\-centric solutions with tangible impact * Utilize advanced LLM methodologies, such as retrieval\-augmented generation, retrieval, routing, tool integration, and evaluation processes, to deliver more dependable AI systems, shorten decision timelines, enhance safety and trust, and optimize operational costs * Lead by example through architectural guidance, team mentorship, and direct involvement in major initiatives **Requirements** * At least 7 years of hands\-on experience in software engineering roles * Minimum of 2 years in a leadership position, successfully guiding and managing developer teams * Proven track record in overseeing and completing 2\-3 projects involving system design and architecture from inception * Ability to independently deliver software solutions or contribute effectively within compact, dynamic teams * Practical experience moving AI agents from initial concept to live deployment, including safety reviews, iterative experimentation like A/B testing, and continuous refinement * Proficiency with LangChain or LangGraph, MCP, vector databases or RAG frameworks, and OpenSearch * Experience with core machine learning activities, such as model training, deployment, and oversight * Understanding of compliance requirements like SOC2 and HIPAA * Strong analytical thinking, ownership mentality, and collaborative communication skills * Advanced skills in full\-stack development and familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP * Expertise in CI/CD methodologies and Infrastructure as Code * Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering concepts * Background in quality assurance and testing methodologies * Awareness of secure development lifecycle and privacy\-first approaches * Proficiency in TypeScript * Proficient English language abilities, both written and verbal, at B2\+ level or higher **Nice to have** * Insight into the workings of large language models, including their limitations and failure scenarios * Experience with advanced techniques like fine\-tuning and adapting models
