At **Frávega Tech**, we are looking for a **Backend Software Architect** to join the **Squad Cross** team, focusing on designing, developing, and implementing AI-based solutions that enhance internal processes, digital products, and business experiences. The person in this role will work on building intelligent systems, integrations with AI models, automations, agents, data pipelines, and solutions that connect AI capabilities with existing applications, services, and platforms. ### **What Will Be Your Main Responsibilities?** **Architecture and Technical Strategy** * Drive the modernization and evolution of legacy systems, managing technical debt and promoting sustainable architectures. * Define and evolve the company’s overall backend services architecture. * Design medium- and long-term technical strategies aligned with business objectives. * Design and promote adoption of architectural patterns, design patterns, and engineering best practices. * Define principles, standards, and technical guidelines for developing scalable and maintainable solutions. * Evaluate technical trade\-offs and lead architectural decisions considering scalability, performance, security, cost, and maintainability. * Design architectures oriented toward distributed systems, high availability, and resilience. * Identify opportunities for improvement and technological evolution in existing platforms. * Participate in defining the technology modernization strategy and evolution of critical components. **Design and Technical Guidance** * Lead the design of complex solutions together with engineering teams. * Review and validate technical designs, solution architectures, and key decisions. * Support Tech Leads and development teams in implementing solutions aligned with defined standards. * Foster a culture of technical excellence, quality, and continuous improvement. * Create architectural documentation, standards, and guidelines to facilitate technical decision-making. * Promote reuse of components, services, and shared capabilities across teams. * Drive adoption of engineering practices that improve quality and delivery speed. **Technical Governance and Cross-Functional Alignment** * Serve as a cross-functional technical reference for multiple engineering teams. * Facilitate architectural discussions and drive alignment across different technical areas. * Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and other departments to translate business goals into technological solutions. * Participate in defining technical roadmaps and platform evolution. * Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies. * Represent the architectural vision in the company’s strategic initiatives. * Elevate the organization’s technical level through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and standard definition. * Promote a culture based on collaboration, autonomy, and technical excellence. * Drive technical communities and learning spaces. ###### **Requirements** * Proficiency in backend architecture and API design. * Experience with microservices architectures, distributed services, and event-driven systems. * Experience with architectural patterns (e.g., DDD, Hexagonal Architecture, Clean Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture). * Experience working with backend languages such as Golang, .Net, Node.js. * Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, etc.). * Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. * Knowledge of scalability, performance, and high-availability strategies. * Experience with modern development practices, CI/CD, and observability. * Experience in high-traffic environments and mission-critical systems. * Experience defining technological standards for large engineering organizations. ###### **Benefits** * “Frávega Benefit”: discounts on our products ‍ ‍ * Agreements with leading universities * Language center discounts * Exclusive gym discount for you and your family * Benefits Club Platform * Promotions and discounts at businesses across various sectors * Agreements with major banks * Daycare reimbursement * Flexible Fridays * “Frávega Tech” Week: an additional week of vacation ###### **Details** Minimum education level: University degree ##### **About Us** At **Frávega**, we constantly evolve.
