We are looking for an **O\&M Technician** to join our team in the **province of Salta, Argentina**. As an **O\&M Technician**, you will carry out operation and maintenance tasks specific to the Thermal Power Plant, working rotating shifts according to Client and Company standards, and also execute planned maintenance and operational contingency tasks during your shift. **Key Responsibilities:*** Operate and maintain the power plant during your shift in compliance with Client and Company standards. * Carry out operational tasks and assist the Shift Supervisor. * Comply with all procedures and instructions related to start\-up, shut\-down, and normal operation of the power plant and its auxiliary equipment. * Complete and update all operational records (checklists, energy produced) clearly and concisely. * Provide assistance during execution of corrective actions arising from grid disturbances. * Effectively communicate the status of all equipment comprising the power plant, as well as any deviations/disturbances from normal conditions, to the Shift Supervisor. * Monitor engine and auxiliary equipment alarm states/parameters; interpret and analyze, together with the Shift Supervisor, data trends related to equipment parameters during the shift. * Comply with all safety regulations including lock\-out/tag\-out of equipment and execute emergency procedures to protect personnel and machinery in case of equipment failure or safety device malfunction. * Assist in operation and maneuvering of all equipment constituting the power plant. * Perform operational inspection routines to detect potential repair and/or adjustment needs. * Generate work orders (WOs) for the maintenance team. * Compliance with regulations and management of cybersecurity and energy aspects in carrying out plant operation activities. **Requirements:*** Technician (chemical, mechanical, electrical or electromechanical), holding a qualification issued by a Technical Education School * Experience in operation and maintenance tasks at continuous-service power generation or production plants. * Experience with generator sets (desirable) * Knowledge of maintenance management systems. * Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (Quality, Safety and Environment). * Prior experience working at height and on rotating shifts. * Spanish \- native language (mandatory). * Basic English proficiency (desirable). * MS Office knowledge. * Basic familiarity with the plant operation program (WOIS).
