Joining YPF means becoming part of a project that combines experience, passion, and the energy required to continue building our future! **What are we looking for?** We are seeking a Project Engineer – Instrumentation Specialist to join the Engineering team at the La Plata Industrial Complex. **What do we value as differentiators?** * **Education**: Graduates in Engineering (Electronics, Systems, or related fields) (Mandatory). * **Knowledge**: * Engineering project management in industrial environments. * Control systems, automation, and process control. * Interpretation of basic and detailed engineering documentation. * Proficiency in MS Project and the Microsoft Office suite. * Safety, environmental, and quality regulations applicable to industry. * Experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemicals, or energy sectors. **Competencies**: * Effective communication * Collaborative teamwork * Coordination of interdisciplinary teams * Problem solving * Adaptability **What will be your main challenges?** * Participate in and support the evaluation of investment project proposals by defining technical specifications and economic assessments, thereby contributing guidelines and information to ensure optimal project execution. * Prepare budgets for assigned projects, which will form part of the Annual Investment Plan of the Complex, aligned with project execution needs to ensure compliance with quality, energy, safety, and environmental protection standards. * Review and analyze project-related information (Basic Engineering, risk analysis, analysis of requirements for developing or optimizing production control systems and multivariable control, analysis of safety and environmental criteria), and evaluate alternative execution approaches to optimize processes and costs through appropriate alternative selection. * Manage available resources during investment execution, adhering to approved budgets and execution timelines, to contribute toward operational improvements in the units. * Coordinate working groups covering various project disciplines and manage necessary meetings among all involved areas to ensure team alignment toward achieving shared objectives. * Control and approve engineering drawings, material lists, and applicable technical specifications, ensuring compliance with Company technical specifications to provide guidance ensuring engineering suitability for construction. * Prepare tender documents, descriptions, and requirements for procurement of materials and equipment; request purchases; and technically evaluate proposals received from various suppliers to guarantee compliance with applicable supply standards. **Position Information** **Workplace**: La Plata Industrial Complex. **Employment Type**: Fixed-term contract for **two years.** **Work Modality**: Hybrid (4 days on-site / 1 day remote) **If you are someone who**: Works with excellence and professionalism.
