At XELERE, we are currently looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen our professional services team. The selected candidate will work on a project for a TELCO industry client, facing the challenge of supporting the security and stability of critical solutions operating in highly complex hybrid environments. We seek an enthusiastic individual who not only understands application deployment but also knows how to secure the infrastructure where those applications reside. The selected candidate will work with a modern tech stack, managing the transition and coexistence of services between On\-Premise (RedHat OpenShift) and Cloud (AWS) environments. Key Responsibilities **Hybrid Security:** Ensure operational security in deployments on RedHat OpenShift (OCP4\) and native cloud environments. **Cloud & Kubernetes Strategy:** Operate and scale clusters, managing pods, services, and networking both on EKS (AWS) and physical infrastructures. **Shift\-Left Culture:** Integrate and optimize security controls (SAST/DAST) directly into GitLab CI/CD pipelines. **Infrastructure as Code:** Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform. **Identity First:** Collaborate on the architecture and migration of IDP / IAM solutions, ensuring a robust and scalable identity flow. Requirements **Technical:** **Orchestration Experience:** Solid expertise in Kubernetes (pod, node, and service administration). Experience with OpenShift 4 and EKS is especially valued. **Cloud Proficiency:** Experience with AWS (EC2 instances, EKS, Lambda, IAM, and Cloud Networking). **Networking:** Understanding of protocols, hybrid connectivity, load balancing, and segmentation. **Automation:** Experience with GitLab and Terraform. **Security:** Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and vulnerability management across the software development lifecycle. **Systems:** Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments. Soft Skills Analytical ability to solve complex problems in critical environments. Proactivity in proposing improvements to security architecture.
