Position Summary: Analyzes, develops, and implements enterprise solutions, defines specifications, and executes unit tests to contribute to organizational goals with an emphasis on quality. Acquisition of business process understanding and improvement Analyzes and develops business requirements, defines and implements solution specifications as well as defines and executes unit tests that contribute to achieving organizational goals with an emphasis on deliverable quality. The analyst identifies, defines, and implements business solutions focused on the benefits to be gained by business units and establishing metrics. Works jointly with technical leaders in defining solutions according to established IS\&T standards and strategies. Supports and/or resolves production issues. **Education and/or Experience:** Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and a minimum of five (5\) years of programming experience in enterprise solutions within web environments and relational database management, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum one (1\) year of experience writing requirements during the analysis phase using methodologies and best practices. Experience with Web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XPath, Web Services, etc). Design and implementation of information systems solutions in distributed environments with high transaction volumes. Design and implementation of information systems using an object-oriented programming language (Java, C\#) following J2EE Design Patterns. Experience with version control tools. Experience with Oracle and MSSQL databases and associated tools (Designer, TOAD, sqlplus, explain plan, DTS, Integration Services, etc). Experience with the J2EE platform and application servers compliant with these specifications. Up-to-date courses in Systems Analysis and Design. Ability to self-learn new techniques and technologies. Experience in the Insurance Industry is preferred. Basic knowledge of the company’s business lines and products. Ability to manage multiple organizational projects simultaneously with varying levels of complexity. Ability to make decisions under pressure in a dynamic environment. Leadership, proactivity, and ownership in work-related situations. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** Analyzes, documents, designs, programs, tests, and deploys complex business applications using current client-server and web platform languages and tools. Estimates effort, time, and cost for software solution implementation. Analyzes organizational problem solutions based on expert judgment and cost-effectiveness for group companies. Includes, but is not limited to, third-party out-of-the-box solutions, internal development, and third-party development, etc. Recommends changes and/or updates or improves existing company programs. Documents all solutions prepared, from analysis through implementation and maintenance, including changes or improvements to existing programs. Provides training to new users and all users of assigned software solutions. Documents test cases. Provides technical assistance regarding the use, maintenance, and operation of the solutions delivered. Acquires understanding of the business processes of the organizational units served and identifies improvement opportunities, applying them systematically. Supports special tasks and projects as required. **Licenses and/or Certifications:** No licenses and/or certifications are required to perform the functions described above. However, licenses or certifications related to the position may be required for optimal performance of duties. **Language:** Bilingual (Spanish and English), ability to read, write, and speak both languages.
