Job Summary: We are seeking a Manual QA professional to ensure application quality by actively participating in the testing process and collaborating on deviation resolution. Key Points: 1. Ensure application quality before production release 2. Actively participate in all stages of the testing process 3. Collaborate in identifying, tracking, and resolving deviations **Location:** Barracas, CABA, Argentina **Work Mode:** This is a **hybrid** position, requiring **2 days per week onsite at our offices in Barracas, CABA**. **Experience:** Up to 3 years **About the Position** We are looking for a **Manual QA** professional to join our team. The selected candidate’s primary challenge will be ensuring application quality prior to production release, actively participating in all stages of the testing process, and collaborating with the team to identify, track, and resolve deviations. We seek an analytical, organized individual with strong communication skills, capable of working under tight deadlines and, when required, participating in shared decision-making with other team members and client representatives. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, derive, and document test cases based on requirements and acceptance criteria. * Execute test cases and report detected deviations or defects. * Track bugs and ensure their proper documentation. * Participate in planning testing activities with the team. * Keep the team lead and team updated on test progress and status. * Identify risks, observations, and issues that may impact story or test progression. * Participate in various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and acceptance testing. * Prepare reports and metrics related to testing activities. * Participate in validation and sign\-off processes. * Maintain clear communication with other QA team members and involved teams. **Requirements** * Up to 3 years of experience in Manual QA / Testing roles. * Experience in designing, executing, and tracking test cases. * Experience in identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs. * Knowledge of the full testing process: inputs, outputs, activities, tasks, and roles. * Familiarity with various types of testing, especially functional, regression, acceptance, integration, and system testing. * Knowledge of non-functional testing. * Ability to interpret requirements and acceptance criteria. * Understanding of basic test planning concepts. * Experience using tools for test case, bug, and/or reporting management. * Strong documentation and communication skills regarding test results. **Preferred Qualifications** * SQL knowledge and database query experience. * Experience with JIRA or similar bug and requirement tracking tools. * Knowledge of Java and SQL specifications or development. * Experience working with development teams and/or directly with clients.
