This opportunity is based at Wood’s offices in CABA. **Role** Electrical engineering professional with over 20 years’ experience in electrical engineering, including more than 15 years focused on the Oil & Gas sector, leading large-scale projects in refineries and industrial plants. Expert in the design, supervision and execution of power, control and automation electrical systems, compliant with international standards such as IEC, IEEE and API, to perform as an electrical engineer. With experience serving as Technical Authority, providing strategic and technical support across all phases of the project lifecycle: from conceptual engineering through to commissioning. Focused on developing conceptual, basic and detailed engineering with an emphasis on operational excellence, industrial safety and energy efficiency. Demonstrates strong technical leadership capability, multidisciplinary team management and critical decision-making skills, delivering value in demanding and highly complex environments. * Overall design and implementation of the electrical system. * Development of single-line electrical drawings, electrical area classification drawings and electrical load lists. * Preparation of specifications for electrical equipment and materials. * Design, inspection and construction of: cable routing, lighting, grounding, shielding, cathodic protection, etc., based on applicable codes, standards and specifications. * Development of specifications for contracting construction, installation, testing and specialized studies. * Development of electrical system calculations, including software-based analysis modeling. * Development of vendor lists, technical proposals, requests for quotations, technical bid tabulations, purchase recommendations, and review and approval of vendors for equipment and materials. * Development of technical management and clarifications to be sent to Bidders during a tender process. * Development of change requests, management and approval thereof. * Development of progress management for manufacturing, transportation and testing, and maintaining communications with vendors to ensure quality and timeliness. **What makes you extraordinary?** At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunity and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team.
