




We are looking for a **Senior Snowflake Administrator** to design, implement, and optimize our Snowflake data platform. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable, and cost\-effective data operations. No matter where you are located, you will join a dedicated, creative, and diverse community that will help you discover your fullest potential. **Responsibilities** * Manage and oversee Snowflake environments including warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, and user access * Monitor system performance, tune queries, and control storage usage to reduce costs * Automate provisioning, scaling, and maintenance workflows * Coordinate Snowflake version updates, patches, and system integrations * Supervise data ingestion pipelines and integrate with external services like AWS S3, Glue, and DBT * Configure and manage Snowpipe and Task/Stream for batch and real\-time data loading * Evaluate workload patterns to improve warehouse sizing, caching, and auto\-suspend configurations * Deploy monitoring tools and dashboards to observe performance, usage, and cost trends * Propose and enforce improvements to query efficiency and data architecture * Assist data engineers and analysts by optimizing SQL queries and data models * Create training materials and documentation for Snowflake users and stakeholders * Participate in on\-call schedules and handle urgent data incidents **Requirements** * Minimum 3 years of hands\-on experience with Snowflake platform administration and tuning * Proven experience managing data ingestion pipelines and AWS Data Services integration * Proficiency in SQL and database administration * Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies and automation * Analytical abilities to monitor and enhance system performance and cost effectiveness * Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams * Skilled in resolving ingestion and transformation issues * Effective communication skills for training and documentation * English language proficiency at Upper\-Intermediate (B2\) level or higher **Nice to have** * Hands\-on experience with Snowpipe and Task/Stream setups * Familiarity with DBT for transforming data * Knowledge of AWS Glue for data integration * Experience with monitoring and dashboard solutions for data platforms **We offer** * Connectivity Bonus (25,000 ARS are paid with a salary receipt at the end of each month as a non\-wages concept). * Medicina Prepaga (It covers the collaborator and direct family group). * Paternity Leave (Two additional days are added to what is established by law, total of 4 days). * Discounts card. * English Training (English lessons, twice per week). * Training Program (Access to multiple customized training plans according to the needs of each role within the company). * Marriage bonus (The company doubles the allowance established by law that ANSES offers). * Referral Program (Referral bonus is paid when the referral of a collaborator joins the Company). * External Agreements and Discounts. * Vacations: 14 calendar days a year *By applying to our role, you are agreeing that your personal data may be used as in set out in EPAM´s Privacy Notice and Policy.*
