Commitment to occupational safety policy and continuous improvement **Location:** Buenos Aires, Capital Federal, Argentina **Job ID:** R0126453 **Date Posted:** 2026\-05\-04 **Company Name:** HITACHI ENERGY ARGENTINA S.A.U. **Profession (Job Category):** Engineering \& Science **Job Schedule:** Full time **Remote:** No **Job Description:** **The Opportunity** Lead, guide, and perform field engineering activities for electrical substation protection systems across high-, medium-, and low-voltage applications, as well as provide technical support and leadership for designated equipment services—including inspection and maintenance routines—while complying with applicable standards, procedures, and requirements related to quality, health, occupational safety, and environmental protection; safeguard the company’s image; ensure continuity of energy supply and delivery of contracted services in accordance with the quality standards mandated by the company, regulatory bodies, and customers. **How You’ll Make an Impact** * Review engineering documentation and prepare relevant protocols, intervention plans, factory acceptance test (FAT) documents, and commissioning documentation. * Lead FATs for control systems according to established schedules and received requests, maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding their needs, identifying new opportunities for improvement and business growth, internally escalating them through appropriate channels, fulfilling requirements, and contributing to customer satisfaction. * Lead site acceptance tests (SATs), providing on-site technical support to our customers to identify technical issues and define corrective actions within your area of expertise. Adhere strictly to scheduled timelines and promptly inform your Manager of any deviations that may hinder objective achievement, enabling joint planning of necessary corrective actions. Identify new business opportunities, escalate them internally through required channels, fulfill customer demands, and contribute to customer satisfaction. * Maintain a primary focus on our customers, technical engagement, and continuous support.
