Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive, results-oriented Real-Time Integrity Engineer to monitor, diagnose, and ensure the continuity of critical systems 24x7 in industrial environments. Key Highlights: 1. Continuous monitoring and early detection of deviations in critical assets. 2. Leading the evolution toward a prescriptive fault detection model. 3. Being part of a high-performance team transforming challenges. Add your energy to the company contributing to our country's development. At YPF, we seek people who want to be part of a great team that transforms challenges into opportunities and acts with excellence to generate value. With over a century of history, we are Argentina’s leading energy company, driving national technological development and innovation. Joining YPF means becoming part of a project that combines experience, passion, and the energy needed to keep building our future! **What Are We Looking For?** We seek a proactive individual with initiative, autonomy, strong interpersonal skills, and a results orientation to serve as a REAL-TIME INTEGRITY ENGINEER within VP UPSTREAM. You will join a high-performance team tackling the challenge of ensuring 24x7 continuity of critical systems in industrial environments. You will be responsible for real-time monitoring and deviation detection, anticipating failures through technical and analytical insight. You will play a central role in first-response diagnostics and end-to-end event management. This is a key role in evolving from a reactive to a predictive model, delivering tangible impact on operations. **What Will Be Your Challenges With Us?** You will be responsible for ensuring comprehensive real-time asset integrity management through continuous monitoring, analysis, and diagnosis—utilizing and managing RTIC Integrity software tools for early risk and failure detection—and thereby delivering real-time field integrity response data while guaranteeing evolution toward a prescriptive fault detection model that minimizes impacts on production, operating costs, safety, and the environment. You will also ensure technical consistency, standardization, and an integrated view of integrity risk—consolidating system-level information and supporting operational and strategic business decision-making. The role must act as an enabler of an integrated real-time decision-making system, collaborating closely with cross-functional RTIC Control Room teams. **What Will Be Your Main Responsibilities?** **Real-Time Monitoring and Integrity Management** Lead continuous monitoring of operational variables, KPIs, and asset condition, ensuring early detection of deviations and potential failures. Monitor the evolution of integrity risk and its impact on facility reliability. **Technical Diagnosis and Operational Support** Participate in failure analysis, diagnosis, and evaluation—including root cause analysis and improvement actions to reduce production losses. Provide remote RTIC support to field personnel, ensuring timely and technically sound decisions. Support, coordinate, and implement corrective and preventive integrity actions across various disciplines. Communicate deviations detected on RTIC Integrity dashboards to the rest of the team and supervisors. Assist in visualizing field action prioritization with the rest of the team. **Integrity Tools and Systems Management** Ensure implementation, development, tuning, and evolution of RTIC tools for integrity management: PIMS, FIMS, WIMS, Optisite, Optimax, or equivalent. Design and supervise dashboards for the Integrity team, reports, and indicators enabling visualization of asset health and failure anticipation. Guarantee data quality, traceability, and integration for remaining life management, fitness-for-service assessment, and risk-based prioritization. **Holistic Risk View** Understand risk matrices and maps, and thus visualize associated action plans for integrity assets on RTIC dashboards to mitigate risks, and oversee the management of this evolution. Translate technical data into concrete, prioritized actions with clear operational/economic impact for the rest of the team you interact with. **Planning and Decision-Making Support** Integrate technical information to define inspection plans, corrosion mitigation strategies, equipment repairs, and integrity management. Prioritize interventions based on risk, asset criticality, and operational consequences. Act as a liaison between RTIC areas, Field Integrity Engineering, Operations, and specialized disciplines. **Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Management** Drive development of prescriptive inspection models and risk-based management. Ensure standardization of processes, technical criteria, and integrity practices across assets. Document lessons learned, best practices, and decision criteria to facilitate traceability and repeatability. **What Do We Value?** * **Academic Background:** Graduates in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Petroleum, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * **Professional Experience:** More than 5 years in similar roles and/or in Integrity/Maintenance positions. * **Specific Knowledge:** Solid expertise in Asset Integrity, corrosion, cathodic protection, reliability, risk management, and pipeline/static equipment repairs. * **Digital Skills:** Proficiency in data mining, data analysis, databases, and programming in Python, SQL, or equivalent tools.
