Work with modern technologies and cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) We are looking for an experienced **Senior Software Engineer**, Analytics Technology, responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and expanding applications and modules for the Analytics Technology Business within the LSEG Data and Analytics Division. The focus of the job is integrating modern technologies, cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS), and open\-source solutions with the existing products and solutions, with the goal of realizing business objectives, supporting growth, and improving performance and efficiency. **Responsibilities** * Work as part of a medium\-sized team of developers to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer technology needs * Develop and maintain compute platforms for financial models supporting both external and internal clients * Design, set up, and maintain infrastructure to support a range of applications * Continuously improve the existing compute infrastructure in terms of performance, quality, and efficiency * Design, present, and collaborate with other teams on technical solutions to address complex business and technical objectives * Work with large\-scale data sources, including relational and NoSQL databases * Migrate applications to the cloud seamlessly to ensure uninterrupted service * Estimate timelines and resources for complex projects and collaborate with other teams to drive projects to completion * Establish credibility and build strong relationships with senior technical staff to align on challenges and shape development strategy * Contribute to products used by leading financial institutions worldwide * Take part in strategic initiatives that have a significant impact on the business bottom line **Requirements** * At least 3 years of relevant professional experience * Hands\-on experience developing C/C\+\+ enterprise solutions, including services and databases * Proven experience working on large\-scale projects * Practical experience working within Linux/Unix environments * Working experience with Python or other high\-level programming languages * Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills * Proven experience collaborating with globally distributed teams across multiple sites and time zones * Solid background in the software development lifecycle and delivery roles * Excellent C/C\+\+ programming skills, including data structures, networking, databases, and services * Hands\-on experience building and deploying C/C\+\+ services to the cloud, using tools such as K9S and Lambdas * Strong analytical background and quantitative skills * Ability to work on\-site in New York from time to time (preferred, but other US locations are possible) * Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (B2\+ level or higher) **Nice to have** * Experience with AWS or Azure cloud technologies and tools * Familiarity with Azure cloud, particularly as a migration target * Working experience with Kubernetes and infrastructure\-related tooling * Knowledge of Fixed Income Securities and Markets * Strong quantitative background combined with exposure to the Fixed Income market * Experience working in teams with multiple contributors and cross\-team collaboration * Background in high\-impact, high\-profile engineering roles * Experience with solution\-oriented, tactical work in complex environments
