The **Microbiology Analyst**, reporting to the Microbiology Supervisor, will be responsible for coordinating daily activities in the microbiology laboratory, ensuring that microbiological analyses of raw materials, intermediate products, and finished products are performed. This includes environmental and water monitoring in production areas in the absence of the area supervisor, protocol corrections, and release (evaluation) of all products analyzed in the CB laboratory, in accordance with procedures and aligned with regulatory, quality (GMP), safety (HSE), and house\-keeping standards. **Key Responsibilities:** * Perform microbiological analysis of finished line and stability products, raw materials, potable water, purified water, compressed air, environmental monitoring, sanitizers, in accordance with current methodologies and monographs, based on the established analysis schedule and/or frequency defined in specific methodologies. * Report analytical results and escalate any atypical, out\-of\-specification results or non\-conformances affecting the analysis, per current procedures. * Perform required verifications of laboratory instruments used for analysis. * Maintain up\-to\-date inventories of culture media, reagents, and materials required for analysis, and escalate purchase requests to the immediate supervisor based on expiry dates or stock levels. * Ensure control and identification of reference strains. * Proper handling of laboratory waste, including appropriate identification and containment, especially for waste classified as * Monitor laboratory temperature and humidity. * Ensure documentation is generated in accordance with Good Documentation Practices, including but not limited to: protocols, reports, analytical data, and logbooks. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi\-annual, and annual reports as defined in departmental procedures. **Why YOU?** **Your Required Qualifications:** * Education: Advanced university student (estimated graduation date 2026/2027\) and/or university graduate, preferably holding a degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or related fields (e.g., food science, etc.). * Experience: \+1 year of prior experience in similar roles or as a chemical technician with equivalent experience in the pharmaceutical/cosmetic/mass\-consumer goods industries within microbiology. * Experience in environmental monitoring, culture media, hygiene control, water analysis, logbook recording, and culture collection management. * English: Basic level (A1/A2\). * Microsoft Office: Intermediate level. * Availability to work full\-time, 100% **on\-site**, Monday to Friday, from 14:00 to 22:15 hrs. at our plant located in Victoria, San Fernando, Buenos Aires, Argentina. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience using AUTOCLAVES and in validations. **Job Posting End Date** 2026\-06\-01**Equal Opportunities** ----------------------- Haleon is committed to mobilising our purpose in a way that represents the diverse consumers and communities who rely on our brands every day.
