We are currently seeking a Service and Technical Support Advisor to work at our branch in Río Tercero, Córdoba, Argentina. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Apply organizational management principles, values, and policies within the scope of your activities. * Ensure the design and execution of processes, conducting analyses and resolving highly complex problems. * Continuously drive improvements to maintain up-to-date and competitive processes aligned with established norms and standards—and implement corrections when necessary. * Guide the After-Sales Network and other colleagues under your responsibility, ensuring technical achievement of expected results—defining priorities, monitoring outcomes, and promoting operational process improvements. * Perform complex diagnostics—including computerized systems on equipment (on-site or remotely) involving hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical components—as well as repairs when required. * Ensure execution of the sector’s production process, meeting Service targets. * Provide technical support and information for management control and performance indicators within your area of expertise—covering both conventional technical assistance and warranty service support. * Advise on and support warranty-related processes and services, promoting and ensuring PALFINGER quality standards under your responsibility. * Guarantee compliance with warranty procedures across the After-Sales Network and internal colleagues via PALDESK and internal management software. * Prioritize assistance to the After-Sales Network, and secondarily to customers and end users—providing technical advice on equipment issues or failures, diagnosing faults, and recommending preventive or corrective maintenance as needed. * Conduct technical visits to the After-Sales Network to advise on problem or failure resolution for PALFINGER products, as well as identify future maintenance opportunities when required. * Schedule technical and operational training on PALFINGER products for the After-Sales Network and end users—both at the plant and at After-Sales Network workshops. * Perform tasks in PALDESK or SAP systems—such as warranty verification, equipment service history, and other assigned duties. * Carry out continuous improvement activities within your sector. * Ensure compliance with occupational safety procedures in your sector. **Competencies** ---------------- * Completed secondary education and/or currently enrolled in higher technical education—preferably in electronics, electrotechnics, industrial automation, electromechanics, or mechatronics with focus on electro-hydraulic systems. * Demonstrable experience in technical fields with orientation toward advisory or remote assistance—minimum 3 years. * Intermediate English (not mandatory). * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Ability to read and interpret manuals and technical documents. * Knowledge in mechanics or hydraulics or electricity or mechatronics. * Customer service orientation. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint preferred). * Experience with or knowledge of diagnostic software. **What We Offer** ----------------- * The opportunity to join the rapidly growing PALFINGER family. * A competitive compensation package. * A friendly and proactive team. * Training. * Development.
