Apply here to launch an extraordinary career today.** AES is seeking a **Field Operator** **Role Description:** Safely, continuously, and directly control and operate the operational process of the Generation, Transmission, and Pipeline System in the field, complying with load dispatch requirements. Comply with and enforce safety and environmental standards per business standards and certifications. Comply with and support ISO 55001. **Responsibilities:** Monitor commissioning and continuous operation processes of the plant. Maneuver and operate various plant equipment, SSEE, and pipeline equipment in the field. Collaborate and operate various plant, SSEE, and pipeline processes from the Control Room in the absence or as replacement for the Control Room Operator, after completing the Field Operator training period. Perform equipment isolations and issue work permits for different plant and SSEE equipment. Conduct field inspections and periodic equipment tests according to the established schedule. Implement quality, safety, and environmental management per applicable plant standards. Execute activities related to the area’s asset management plan. Coordinate activities related to compliance with Integrated Management System standards and ISO 55001. **Requirements:** Education: Secondary Technical Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering. Experience: Preferably experience in Thermal Power Plants (not mandatory). Technical Knowledge: Basic knowledge of electricity. Qualified for CAMMESA PT 15 procedure.
