Evaluates material availability and negotiates with suppliers #### **Your Role** The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the materials, supplies, and services required to support local manufacturing and commercial operations. This role ensures material availability, cost control, and supplier performance, while supporting procurement processes, contract compliance, and cross-functional coordination in alignment with company policies. #### **Your Responsibilities** Search for, prepare, and process purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, equipment, and services. Collaborate with internal departments to identify requirements, specifications, acceptable substitutes, and delivery needs. Evaluate current and future material availability by monitoring market conditions, suppliers, and delivery constraints. Support supplier negotiations and tendering processes, including evaluation of pricing, terms, and conditions. Maintain procurement systems, recordkeeping, and ERP to ensure accurate documentation and traceability. Monitor procurement costs, landing costs, freight charges, tariffs, and surcharges to ensure budget compliance.
