Job Summary: We are seeking a technician for the maintenance and installation of telecommunications infrastructure, with responsibilities at assigned sites and participation in rotating on-call shifts. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preventive and corrective maintenance at telecommunications sites 2. Installation and swapping of RRU/AAU, antennas, and BBUs 3. Work with optical fiber, power supply, and grounding We are recruiting for a leading company specializing in the installation, maintenance, and deployment of telecommunications infrastructure. Work Location: AMBA Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00 hs, with passive on-call shifts of 10 days. (10 consecutive on-call days, followed by 10 days off-call). Employment Model: On-site. Contract Type: Permanent. Offered: Direct employment contract with the company under the UOCRA collective agreement. Main responsibilities in this position will include: * Preventive and corrective maintenance at assigned sites. * Installation and swapping of RRU / AAU, antennas, and BBUs. * Laying and connecting optical fiber, power supply, and grounding. * Antenna alignment. * Post-installation measurements and validations. * Support in site acceptance and closure processes. * Basic electrical measurements and diagnostics on distribution panels (fuses, phases). * Basic air conditioning maintenance. * Control of diesel generators (manual start-up, alarm reading, level checks). * Generation of maintenance records and technical reports. * Participation in monthly rotating on-call shifts. * Tower and antenna assembly, installation, and maintenance. * Inspection and adjustment of metal structures. Requirements: * Proven experience working at heights. * Valid driver’s license (mandatory). * Experience in mobile networks 4G LTE / 5G NR. * Experience in 4G-to-5G technology swaps, integration and/or commissioning. * Knowledge of basic electricity and use of instruments (multimeter, clamp meter). * Knowledge of on-site safety standards. * Availability for fieldwork and travel. * Teamwork skills, responsibility, and autonomy. Preferred Qualifications: * Prior experience with operators such as Telefónica, Telecom, and/or Claro. * Experience with Ericsson, Huawei, and Nokia technologies. * Knowledge of basic network optimization.
