We are seeking a Senior / Semi-Senior Data Scientist with experience in traditional ML, end-to-end ML lifecycle, Python development, and Azure usage, focused on analytical solutions and agile collaboration.

At ADN – Human Resources, we are looking for a Senior / Semi-Senior / Remote Data Scientist for an important company.
Requirements:
- Three to five years of experience in Data Science roles, depending on the quality and complexity of projects completed.
- STEM degrees preferred: Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or related fields.
- Formal education in Data Science (undergraduate or postgraduate) is mandatory.
- Technical autonomy and ability to work independently are expected.
- Predominantly technical and development-oriented role.
- Intermediate / Advanced English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Technical Skills:
Core languages and tools (mandatory):
-Python.
-SQL.

Cloud (exclusive):
-Microsoft Azure:
-Azure Machine Learning
-Azure Synapse
Libraries and frameworks:
-Scikit-learn
-PyTorch
-Matplotlib / Seaborn
-Jupyter Notebook
DevOps:
-Git version control (mandatory)
-Desirable: GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
MLOps (desirable):
-Experience monitoring and operating models in Azure ML.
Desirable knowledge:
-Experience working under agile methodologies.
-Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana.
-Familiarity with platforms such as Databricks or Domino.
-Interest or basic knowledge in GenAI (not exclusive).
-Advanced statistical modeling.
-Prior experience in the insurance industry (a plus).
Main Responsibilities:
-Develop traditional Machine Learning models (descriptive, predictive, forecasting, and inference).
-Execute the full ML lifecycle: exploration, design, prototyping, validation, and deployment (PoC → MVP → Pilot → Production).
-Write Python code following best practices (version control, testing, documentation).
-Use Azure, especially Azure Machine Learning and Azure Synapse, for model execution and deployment.
-Translate business requirements into analytical and technical solutions.
-Participate in meetings with non-technical stakeholders to explain models, logic, and results.
-Produce clear and maintainable technical documentation.
-Collaborate with the squad using Agile methodologies.
-Stay updated on tools and practices for advanced analytics within the Azure ecosystem.
