We are currently searching for a Milling Machine Operator to provide direct support in the Maintenance department, for an industrial company with over 100 years of market presence. The position requires availability to work rotating shifts and willingness to relocate, as the vacancy is located in Tucumán. Main Responsibilities: - Prepare machines and tools before starting tasks. - Perform cylindrical boring, facing, conical, spherical, and threading operations. - Operate measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, compasses, protractors, etc.). - Carry out full or partial disassembly of machinery and equipment, interpreting blueprints and catalogs for maintenance or repair. - Perform preventive maintenance on assigned machinery (oil level checks, belt inspections, lighting, etc.). - Knowledge of and ability to work with various metals used in industry (steel, bronze, aluminum, malleable cast iron, etc.). General Knowledge: - Reading and interpretation of blueprints and geometric tolerances. - Calculation of cutting speeds, feed rates, and depth of cut (not mandatory). - Use of workpiece fixturing and alignment techniques. - Machining of holes, flat surfaces, slots, and keyways. - Dimensional control and surface finish inspection. Equipment and Tools: - Horizontal or vertical boring mill. - Universal milling machine, fixed-bed milling machine, or CNC milling machine. - Dividing table and universal head. - Tool holders, face mills, and disc cutters. - Tool grinder (not mandatory). Measuring Instruments: - Calipers, micrometers, compasses, protractors, bore gauges, etc. Requirements: - Availability to work rotating shifts (06:00–15:00 / 15:00–00:00 / 00:00–06:00). - Willingness to relocate to Tucumán. The company provides housing allowance for 6 months; after completion of the probationary period, this expense becomes the employee’s responsibility.
