Job Summary: We are seeking a Road Technician / Mechanic for preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy machinery, fault diagnosis, and support in repairs. Key Highlights: 1. A company dedicated to the sale and rental of construction, industrial, and mining machinery is seeking a Road Technician / Mechanic to join its workshop. Education Completed technical secondary education (mandatory). Technical training in mechanics, electromechanics, or related fields. Experience / Knowledge Experience in mechanical maintenance (various levels of experience will be considered). Knowledge of heavy machinery: backhoes, excavators, etc. Knowledge of general mechanics. Experience with diesel engines and hydraulic systems will be valued. Main Responsibilities Preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery. Basic diagnosis of mechanical faults. Support in engine, hydraulic system, and mechanical component repairs. Workshop organization and maintenance. Compliance with safety and quality standards. Purchase of spare parts, procedures such as goods dispatch. Valued Competencies Responsibility and commitment. Willingness to learn and continuously improve. Teamwork. Progressive autonomy in technical tasks. Mandatory Requirements Valid driver’s license for operating company pickup trucks. Employment Conditions Commerce Collective Bargaining Agreement. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00. Possibility of overtime. Lunch provided by the company. Workplace: Gral Pacheco–Ricardo Rojas.
