Technical knowledge of Mercedes Benz, Scania, and Volvo preferred A major long-distance bus company is seeking a Mechanic with knowledge and experience in heavy-duty mechanics. EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE IN HEAVY-DUTY MECHANICS: trucks, buses, cranes, etc Responsibilities: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Dismantle, repair, and reassemble engines, cylinder heads, fuel injection systems, transmissions, and differentials. Repair or replace damaged components of the cooling system, air system, lubrication system, and clutch. Repair, inspect, and adjust brakes. Inspect, identify, and diagnose equipment problems/failures. Change oil and filters. Requirements: Ability to use specialized tools and equipment. Ability to locate and resolve complex problems. Technical knowledge of vehicle structure, components, and general operation. Knowledge of Mercedes Benz, Scania, and Volvo preferred.
