At a prominent sanatorium located in Adrogué, we are seeking a proactive Head Cook with strong management skills to join our team. The Challenge Your role will be pivotal as the sector’s reference during the afternoon shift, ensuring operational excellence, team leadership, and strict compliance with food safety standards. What will be your responsibilities? Leadership: Organize, direct, and supervise the kitchen team, assign tasks, and foster their development. Production Management: Oversee food preparation and distribution processes, ensuring quality, quantity, and portion control according to prescribed diets. Stock Control: Verify incoming supplies and ensure no ingredients are missing for service. Safety and Hygiene: Guarantee compliance with food safety regulations and maintain preventive cleaning standards. Collaboration: Work jointly with the Nutrition team and coordinate handover with the Morning Shift Kitchen Manager. What are we looking for? Experience: Proven track record in similar roles, preferably within healthcare institutions or large-scale dining facilities, with personnel under supervision. Education: Completed secondary education and a valid food handler’s certificate (mandatory).
